Easy to find and beautifully kept cemetery, although many of the old stones appear to have moss on them, and more have been damaged. Many are hard to read. Stone dates from the late 1700's on - few are ornate - most are void of decoration except for the lettering. Few epitaphs as well and the ones that do have them are mostly unreadable. The grounds are kept up and there appears to be a recent addition of a butterfly garden around a WWII memorial. According to the sign on the archway to the cemetery it reads "Kenniston Cemetery" formerly Old burying ground.
Definitely worth a visit.Added March 02, 2017 by Lois Lepisto
